Al-Muhammadiah mosque

Al-Muhammadiah mosque which is kelantan state mosque also called Stone mosque.Its used 10 years to be completed during a ruler of Sultan Ismail 4. Since then, the mosque are fully used as the most prayer of the capital citizens.





Bank PITIS

This is oldest bank built around 1889-1890 which situated at th right hand site of the Istana Balai Besar entrance. A square of weight 12 and height 12 with two panel door and tree lock made by Cengal Wood. During the rule of Sultan Muhammad iii (LOng Kundur Bin Sultan Ahmad)this building were used to keep all the money (PITIS) owned by the government at the time.



Tok Bali Beach

Tok Bali Beach is a favorite beaches among tourist now day. The beauty and tranquil of a white sandy beach are welcoming visitors. Southeast Asia's Largest Buddha

There are a lot of Buddha statue build in Tumpat district. Among this beautiful and giant buddha statue are Orange Robed monks chanted prayers and lit two giant candle to inaugurate the 3o metre high, 47 metre wide statue Buddha sitting cross legged in a meditation pose at Wat Machimmaram temple. Some of 100,000 worshippers from as far as Thiland, Singapore and Sri Langka were expected turned up for the grand installation ceremony by Thai Deputy.





Gua Musang

Gua Musang is the northern gateway to Taman Negara (National Park), which is situated in the southeastern part of Gua Musang district. The untouched tropical rain forest in Taman Negara is among the oldest in the world. It is well known for its biodiversity and is home to many endangered species of animals and plants.

Gua Musang is surrounded by limestone hills and caves, which have become popular with cavers and rock climbers.

The small village of Merapoh in Pahang which is just south of Gua Musang serves as a popular starting point for those who want to scale Gunung Tahan Another interesting place to visit in Gua Musang is a Buddhist temple in Pulai, which is purportedly 400 years old.

Nenggiri River is a favourite among those who enjoy river rafting . There is also a rafting race, called Nenggiri Challenge. Archaeological sites can be found in caves, such as Gua Cha, Chawan and Jaya, which are situated along the river.

Wat Photivihan (sleeping Buddha)

Wat Phothivihan is a Thai Buddhist temple in Tumpat,Kelantan , approximately 15km from . Kota Bharu It is famous for housing the biggest reclining Buddha statue inMalaysia . This 40-meter sculpture was constructed in 1973, and was only completed in 1979. The construction cost of RM350,000 was derived from public donation as well as contributions from various Buddhist associations in Malaysia and Thailand.
The Wat Phothivihan reclining Buddha is 7 meters longer than the older reclining Buddha of Wat Chaiyamangklaram in Penang . I visited Wat Phothivihan while exploring the various Buddhist temples around Tumpat.
